One of the most famous professional poker player of all time Howard Lederer, surnamed "The Professor" , was born on October 30, 1964 in Concord, the capital of New Hampshire state of United States of America.Coming from a family of professors he has grown along with his two sisters , Annie( now a famous poker player - Annie Duke) and Katy. He won two gold bracelets WSOP (2000 and 2001) and received from poker tournaments during his career over 3.7 million dollars and 1.3 million dollars from World Series Of Poker.

Howard Lederer parents learn their children to play different card games in order to spend more time with family.Hiis father Richard Lederer who was a writer, professor and linguist, introduced him into the secrets of poker , who would become his passion for life . In adolescence , however , Howard Lederer was more fascinated by chess than poker.
